Notice of Accommodation Tax Implementation

Dear Guests,
Thank you for your continued patronage of Hotel Monte Hermana Sendai.
In accordance with Miyagi Prefecture regulations, an accommodation tax will be implemented for all stays
at Hotel Monte Hermana Sendai beginning January 13, 2026 (Tuesday).
■Accommodation Tax Rate JPY 300 per person per night for stays costing JPY 6,000 or more
(excluding tax and meals) per person per night.
※Tax breakdown: JPY 100 Prefectural Tax, JPY 200 Municipal Tax.
※Stays costing less than JPY 6,000 (excluding tax and meals) per person per night are exempt from this tax.
※School trips and club activities as part of a school's curriculum (including chaperones) are also tax-exempt.
The accommodation tax will be collected separately at the front desk upon check-in.
